Christmas Ornament Cupcakes

These cupcakes are just the treat for a holiday tree-trimming party. Your guests can even decorate their own before trimming the tree! They make great treats for a classroom party also.

INGREDIENTS:
Cupcakes
Colorful frosting
Red and green candy such as M&Ms
Mini Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
Pretzels

DIRECTIONS:

1. Frost a batch of cooled cupcakes (store bought or baked from your favorite recipe) with colorful frosting.

2. Decorate with colorful candies (Skittles, Reese’s Pieces and M&Ms Minis all work well).

3. Top each one with a miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup (turned upside-down).

4. Use a broken pretzel piece for an ornament hanger.

* Remember to set some out for Santa.
