Meatball Primavera With Wild Rice Recipe
Meatball Primavera with Wild Rice will make your mouth water. Your Family is in for a treat for tonight’s dinner. Easy Meatball Primavera with Wild Rice makes a great covered dish to your next family reunion or church dinner.
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb. of turkey
1 egg, beaten
2 cups of water
1 can of Condensed Cream of Mushroom soup, undiluted
1 package (16 oz.) of frozen Broccoli medley (California Blend)thawed.
1 box of Uncle Ben’s Long Grain & Wild Rice Fast Cook Recipe.
1/2 cup of Seasoned Bread Crumbs
2 tbsp of olive oil
Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine a pound of ground turkey, an egg, and 1/2 cup of Seasoned bread crumbs. Mix well.
Step 2
Shape the ground turkey mixture into 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch meatballs (about 20 meatballs).
Step 3
In a large skillet, heat the 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until hot.
Step 4
Cook meatballs about 6 minutes or until brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
Step 5
Combine 1 can of Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Mushroom soup with 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
Step 6
Add meatballs, vegetables, and seasoning packet from rice (do not add the rice yet).
Step 7
Cover and reduce the heat. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 8
Add rice to the skillet; mix well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until hot.
Step 9
Remove from heat; stir well. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
TIP:
For a fuller more professional looking dish, fluff the rice before serving.
