Seafood Salad Recipe

This easy seafood salad can be served alone or with crackers. Add sugar for a sweeter treat or leave out the sugar for a more seafood flavor. You can add peas and carrots or broccoli if desired (Not both).

Seafood Salad

Things You’ll Need:
16 ounces Imitation crab meat (chopped)
1 cup of peeled cooked frozen shrimp (thawed)
1 cup of light Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of lemon pepper
2 teaspoons of Old Bay
1 tablespoon of sugar (optional)
1 cup Frozen Peas and carrots (optional)
1 cup Chopped Frozen Broccoli (optional

Step 1
When making this quick and easy seafood salad, gather all of your ingredients. Take note of the optional ingredients and pull out the ones you want to add.
Step 2
In a small bowl (can be the bowl you want to keep the seafood salad in or a separate bowl), combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon pepper, Old Bay and sugar (if desired). Mix well.
Step 3
Once the dressing is mixed, add in the shrimp and imitation crab meat (chopped into bite size pieces). Now toss in the vegetables (if desired). I chose peas and carrots because I like them and they make the seafood salad colorful. Broccoli would be a healthy choice as well.
Step 4
Stir until dressing coats the seafood and vegetables.

Serving Suggestions:

1. Serve as a dip with plain chips.

2. Serve with crackers as a spread.

3. Eat it as a salad by it self.

4. Top off your favorite greens.

5. Stuff a pita bread with your seafood salad.

6. Use a tortilla to make a seafood wrap.

7. Spread it on a toasted Bagel for a sandwich.

Enjoy!
