Shrimp Parmesan Pasta
Your favorite pasta (spaghetti, macaroni, shells, etc.)
¼ stick of butter
¼ teaspoon of Old Bay
1 – 8 oz can of shrimp (small frozen shrimp can also be used if you prefer)
Kraft Parmesan Cheese
Step 1
To make Shrimp Parmesan Pasta, start by cooking 8 oz. of your favorite pasta as you normally would (I like to use thin spaghetti or angel hair pasta but any pasta will do).
Step 2
While your pasta cooks, melt 1/4 stick of butter in a separate pan (or in a microwave safe bowl).
Step 3
Add your frozen shrimp (or your canned shrimp, drained) to the melted butter. Over low heat, saute your shrimp until warmed thoroughly.
Step 4
Pour your butter and shrimp over the pasta. Toss pasta until shrimp and butter are evenly mixed with the pasta.
Step 5
Add 1/4 teaspoon of Old Bay Seasoning (more if you like a strong seafood flavor). Toss well.
Step 6
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over your pasta (for a stronger flavor, use shredded Parmesan cheese).
VARIATION:
1. If you have leftover pasta use that pasta for this dish. Using your leftover pasta will help this meal take only minutes to make. You can steam the pasta to rewarm it or heat it in the microwave for a few seconds. Do the butter, shrimp, Old Bay and Parmesan the same as the above instructions.
2. If you like cheese, sprinkle some Kraft Shredded Mozzarella over your Shrimp Parmesan Pasta.
Tips and Warnings:
Serve with garlic bread and a salad. Enjoy!
