Sweet and Salty Holiday Snack

I love chocolate covered pretzels. Anything sweet and salty really hits the spot. These fun treats make great gifts or a snack for a holiday party. Remember to make extra for your family to enjoy!

INGREDIENTS:
Hershey Kisses (Hershey Hugs work great too)
Waffle Shaped Pretzels
M&M Candy

DIRECTIONS:

1. Heat the oven to 170F.

2. In a single layer, lay out bite-size, waffle-shaped pretzels (one for each treat) on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

3. Top each pretzel with an unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss or Hershey’s Hug.

4. Bake for about 5 minutes (the white chocolate will melt more quickly), or until the chocolates feel soft when touched with a wooden spoon.

5. Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and quickly press an M&M’s candy into the center of each Kiss. You can use a peanut M&M for a nutty treat.

6. Allow the treats to cool for a few minutes.

7. Place treats in the refrigerator to set. This takes about 10 minutes.

8. Place handfuls of the candies in clear plastic bags and tie on colorful ribbons.
