INGREDIENTS:
1 package (10 oz.) refrigerated pizza dough
3/4 lb. of hamburger (turkey burger can be substituted)
1/2 cup of chopped onions
1 packet of Taco Bell taco seasoning
1 cup of Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 medium plum tomatoes sliced thin or 1 cup of chopped tomatoes
Step 1
Taco pizza is a great way to combine to favorite dishes in one. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Lightly spray a 12 inch pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray or for a crispier crust, use Pampered Chef Round Stoneware. Take your pizza dough and roll it out on your pan.
Step 3
Build the sides of your crust up (to hold your toppings). Using a fork, prick the dough generously.
Step 4
Spread re-fried beans over your crust. Make it as thick as you like if using a stone pan (otherwise, a thin layer). Sprinkle Krafts Shredded Cheddar Cheese over the re-fried beans.
Step 5
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.
Step 6
While your crust is baking, brown your burger and onions in a skillet. Drain the grease from your burger.
Step 7
Return the burger to the skillet and add 1 cup of water and taco seasoning packet. Simmer until most of the water is absorbed.
Step 8
When crust is ready, carefully remove from oven and spread your taco meat over the warm crust.
Step 9
Add a layer of Kraft Shredded Cheddar cheese.
Step 10
Build your pizza with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, black olives, jalapeno peppers, salsa, sour cream, etc. Whatever you like on your tacos is what you put on your pizza. Don’t forget the Guacamole!
